YOUTH In addition to Nga Kana, Vroninks, and Engwanda, the following four players are also expected to make a big impact in 2026.

Jayden Onia Seke is a 16-year-old dribbling left winger who excels in one-on-one situations. He suffered an injury with the U17 national team in mid-October, but should be back on his feet soon. He was allowed to join the training camp in the summer, but the club wants him to play more matches with the Futures before he is definitively included in the first team. Within the club, some see him as having a profile similar to Camara: capable of covering the entire flank and contributing both offensively and defensively.

Alexander De Ridder is one of the revelations of the season at the Futures. This elegant central midfielder is a fixture at the Futures, where he is one of the leaders at the age of 17. His vision and powerful shot are particular assets. At the moment, the midfield at the A-team is still well stocked.

Another revelation at the Futures is Amine Mahroug. This 17-year-old left back was never seen as the great talent, but managed to work his way up to become the undisputed starter at left back. He is technically strong and brings a lot of intensity and running ability to the team. Defensively, he still has some work to do, but the club fully believes in his potential.

After a serious knee injury prevented him from playing soccer from March to November, much is expected in 2026 from 18-year-old Frenchman Enzo Sternal, who was acquired from Olympique Marseille last winter. The attacking midfielder with fabulous technique has already gained volume since his transfer, but first and foremost he needs to regain his rhythm with the Futures before possibly being included in the first team in the summer.
