TRANSFERS Anderlecht wants to quickly finalize contract extensions for three players. The club has offered new contracts to Marco Kana, Thorgan Hazard, and Nathan De Cat. Now it's up to them to decide what to do.

Het Laatste Nieuws reports today that Kana could sign a new five-year contract. According to the newspaper, a one-year contract is on the table for Hazard. De Cat would like to keep him on board for another 1.5 years, but the club wants to extend and upgrade his contract, which expires in 2027.

Het Nieuwsblad, for its part, reports that the proposal for Hazard also includes an option for an additional year if certain conditions are met and that the player will not simply say ‘yes'. With €1.5 million per year, he is now one of the top earners. The new agreement includes a lower salary. According to the newspaper, Hazard wants to play at the highest level for another two to three years. He is calmly waiting to see if other interesting proposals come along, for example from the Middle East. He would like to stay in Brussels and the salary is not the biggest stumbling block, but he would prefer to simply sign a new two-year agreement.
