TRANSFERS Goalkeeper Mads Kikkenborg has reached an agreement with Norwegian club Molde, according to Het Laatste Nieuws. The newspaper reports that it is only a matter of time before the clubs also reach agreement on a transfer.
Kikkenborg, now 26, joined Anderlecht two years ago as a promising goalkeeper from Danish club Lyngby. He was expected to become Kasper Schmeichel's successor at Anderlecht and to progress to the Danish national team. However, he was never able to live up to those expectations. In two years, he played barely five games for Anderlecht.
Molde finished tenth in the Norwegian league last season, which follows the calendar year. The new season does not start until March.
