OTHER Six months after his return to Anderlecht, Lucas Biglia is slowly but surely establishing himself as a key figure in Besnik Hasi's coaching staff. At 39 years of age, the former captain, who won four championships with the purple and white, is continuing his transformation into a coach. Biglia brings a human touch and is extremely eager to learn. Hasi, Edward Still, and Jeremy Taravel lead the training sessions, while the Argentine observes, adjusts, and gives advice.

During the sporting crisis in October, for example, Colin Coosemans turned to him before organizing a decisive group discussion.

Since the end of his playing career, Biglia has thrown himself into coaching. In December, he obtained his UEFA A diploma after 192 hours of lessons in Italy. In September, he will start his Pro License, a new step towards his stated ambition: to become T1, without skipping any steps.

His wife and three children still live in Milan, which means the Argentine has to travel (unreasonably) a lot. Hasi is gradually giving him more responsibilities, convinced that his experience and calmness are valuable assets for this young team.
