TRANSFERS La Louvière is in talks with RSC Anderlecht about a loan transfer of midfielder Majeed Ashimeru until the end of the season. The Walloon club is looking for extra experience and more intensity in its squad, qualities that Ashimeru should bring. Previously, there was interest from Denmark (Nordsjælland), but that did not result in a transfer. Ashimeru's contract was extended in 2024, but he now has to leave.
La Louvière cannot take over his full salary, but Anderlecht is still open to a deal. The player himself also wants to leave in order to force a World Cup selection with Ghana.
