TRANSFERS Nilson Angulo has become an important attacking player at Anderlecht. According to transfer expert Rudy Galetti, three Spanish clubs, Real Sociedad, Real Betis, and Atlético Madrid, are interested in the player. However, Atlético does not see his arrival as an immediate priority and is focusing first on signing a midfielder and a left-back. Angulo could be considered a possible replacement for Nico González next summer should he leave.
Angulo, who trained at LDU Quito, made the move to Anderlecht in the summer of 2022. Since then, he has played 90 games and scored 8 goals and 11 assists.
Manchester United and Tottenham have also recently been mentioned as interested parties.
