TRANSFERS RSC Anderlecht is preparing for a busy day in the transfer market. Today, the official announcement of Danylo Sikan, the new Ukrainian striker who is transferring from Trabzonspor, is expected . The 24-year-old forward should bring extra power to the attack and offer coach Brian Riemer an additional option up front.
Importantly for the Purple & White, Sikan will be eligible to play immediately. Together with recently signed goalkeeper Justin Heekeren, he will be available for Sunday's league match against Dender. The club completed all the administrative formalities in time, allowing both newcomers to be included in the match selection without restrictions.
For Anderlecht, his immediate availability comes at a good time. The Brussels club has been struggling with a lack of efficiency in front of goal for several weeks and hopes that Sikan can provide an immediate boost. It is still uncertain whether he will start on Sunday, but a first substitute appearance is certainly a possibility.
