TRANSFERS Yasin Özcan is leaving Anderlecht after six months. The defender will be loaned out by Aston Villa to Besiktas for the rest of the season. “The loan to Anderlecht will be terminated,” the Purple & White announced.
The defender was loaned from Aston Villa, but actually had few opportunities to play. In the limited time he did spend on the field, he made few mistakes, but he did not excel either. Anderlecht therefore sought a solution to terminate the loan deal early.
That solution has now been found. The Turkish defender will be able to play for Besiktas in his home country. Anderlecht, Besiktas, Özcan, and his parent club Aston Villa have reached an agreement.
