TRANSFERS French second-division side Amiens approached Anderlecht about Anas Tajaouart but was rebuffed, transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports. Amiens wanted to take Tajaouart on loan until the end of the season, but the Purple-and-White are not prepared to let the young midfielder go. The 20-year-old Tajaouart has been one of the stalwarts of the Futures for about two years and serves as their captain. He was promoted to the first-team squad last year and, although regularly included in matchday selections, has so far only made two appearances — a brief substitution in Europe against Häcken and a short cup appearance against Ninove.
Despite the limited playing time, Anderlecht rate him highly: just over a year ago he signed a new contract running until 2029.
