TRANSFERS Nilson Angulo leaves Anderlecht for Sunderland; the Ecuadorian has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal, with Sunderland holding an option for an additional year.
"Nilson is a fast and creative winger who possesses the skills needed to be decisive in the final third of the pitch," said Speakman. "He arrives with the ambition to make an impression."
According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Anderlecht will receive 20 million euros for Angulo. Het Nieuwsblad reports 17 million euros fixed plus 3 million euros in bonuses.
