OTHER Lucas Biglia has informed the club board that he is resigning from his role on the first-team technical staff and will return to Italy to be with his family. Biglia joined RSC Anderlecht last summer as assistant to head coach Besnik Hasi, after a playing career that included a spell at Anderlecht. In a statement he expressed gratitude for the experience he gained and said his departure is a personal decision, also motivated by loyalty to Hasi. He emphasised his fond memories of the club.
In a message the club thanked and praised Biglia, but expressed regret at his decision.
