OTHER RSC Anderlecht may have to do without Moussa Diarra in the coming weeks. The defender was sent off last week in the first leg against Antwerp after a serious foul on Al-Sahafi. On Monday, the league prosecutor proposed a three-match suspension, supplemented by a fine of €3,000.
If Anderlecht agrees to this suspension, Diarra will not only miss the semi-final return leg at the Bosuil, but also the league matches against La Louvière and Zulte Waregem. However, the Purple & White still have the option to appeal. In that scenario, Diarra would be available for the cup return leg against Antwerp, pending a final decision.
What is certain is that Killian Sardella will have to miss the return leg. The full-back received two yellow cards in the first leg and is therefore automatically suspended for one match.
