YOUTH Three key positions are currently vacant at Anderlecht: sports director, head coach, and head of youth development. Jean Kindermans is the leading candidate for the latter position. About two years after his departure from Neerpede, a return to RSCA seems possible, where he played an important role in the development of great talents such as Romelu Lukaku, Youri Tielemans, and Zeno Debast in the past.
However, a transfer is not a foregone conclusion. Kindermans is under contract with his current employer Antwerp until 2029, where he is active as youth director. This means that negotiations are likely to be complex. Nevertheless, there is optimism that a return can be achieved.
It is clear that Kindermans is not in the running to succeed Olivier Renard as sports director. At Anderlecht, he would once again take on the role of head of youth training. According to the current plan, RSCA first wants to appoint a new coach, then appoint a head of youth training, and only then appoint a new sports director.
