INTERVIEWS Shortly before kickoff of the cup tie against Antwerp, Anderlecht chairman Michael Verschueren spoke to DAZN. He said the club is hard at work on a new coach. "We will announce the name soon," he said. More news can be expected on other fronts as well.
"We are also coming with a new plan and new people to carry out that plan," Verschueren added, saying he does not believe Anderlecht is in crisis. "That's how the media portray it. Three months ago we appointed Kenneth Bornauw and there were results. Now, with the same selection, suddenly we wouldn't be able to do anything anymore. Some have chosen to abandon ship, but we are working on solutions and improvements." An optimistic Verschueren, then.
