GAMES Yet another D-day tomorrow for Anderlecht in the league. After the cup euphoria came another disappointing league performance last weekend. Anderlecht travels to Zulte Waregem tomorrow, a side that has beaten the purple-and-white 3-2 in each of their last three encounters. If Anderlecht does not want to seriously jeopardize its chances of the Champions' play-offs, it must finally win — and it must finally find the net again in the JPL.
It is almost a miracle that Anderlecht still sits fourth in the table; direct rivals have also been dropping points. Had Anderlecht shown a bit more level in recent weeks, it would probably already be all but certain of a spot in the Champions' Play-offs. Diarra is serving the final day of his suspension, and players such as Camara and Augustinsson should in principle be ready to start.
Stroeykens has recovered from his injury and could be included in the squad.
