INTERVIEWS Eden Hazard was present at RSC Anderlecht's match against Oud-Heverlee Leuven. The former Red Devil was there to support his brother, who was later named man of the match. While attending, Hazard also spoke about his own career and a possible return to Belgian football. He said there was never any contact with RSC Anderlecht about finishing his career there and had some regrets that he never played in Belgium at the highest level.
Hazard added that he had dreamed of ending his career at the same club as his brother. In the end one decisive factor prevented that: his children wanted to remain living in Spain. For that reason he chose to finish his career there. The former star nevertheless remains a keen follower of Belgian football and regularly shows up at matches to support family and acquaintances.
