INJURIES Bad news for César Huerta. The Mexican striker underwent another surgery in London after continuing to struggle with pubalgia. Despite previous surgery in November in his home country, the pain persisted.
A new surgical procedure ultimately proved necessary, much to the frustration of Anderlecht. The Brussels club had hoped that Huerta would recover more quickly, but his recovery is proving more difficult than expected.
According to initial forecasts, in the best-case scenario, ‘Chino' will not be able to return to the field until the second half of May. If everything goes according to plan, he will still be able to get back into match rhythm ahead of the upcoming World Cup.
