OTHER The last doubts have been dispelled after the good performance against Club Brugge: Anderlecht will continue with Jérémy Taravel as head coach until the end of the season. That is what Het Nieuwsblad and La Dernière Heure are reporting tonight. A solution is being worked out for the fact that he does not yet have the right diploma.
After the good results of recent weeks, Taravel has gained more and more credit. He is also popular with the players. The board wanted to wait for the match against Club Brugge before formally deciding to finish the season with Taravel. The coach passed that test.
Taravel does not yet have a Pro License diploma. He cannot start training in Belgium in the short term, but he can abroad. Anderlecht is working on this. Taravel will probably be able to enroll in one of the Baltic states. Once that is settled, the club will likely issue an official statement that it will continue with the 38-year-old coach.
