OTHER Although club owner Marc Coucke was recently abroad, he continues to follow Anderlecht's performances closely. According to Bornauw, Coucke doesn't miss a single match, not even those of the reserve team; he even watched a game during a flight, underlining his involvement. The results clearly affect him: after a disappointing showing against Cercle Brugge, the owner reportedly made no attempt to hide his dissatisfaction. Inside the club there is an awareness that a better result just before the play-offs could have provided a mental boost.
