Benkara is a regular on Dortmund's reserve team. He has made the matchday roster for the first team on several occasions and traveled to the United States for the Club World Cup, though he has yet to play. This is now causing him to have doubts, according to Bild. Benkara is open to extending his contract, but also wants to know what his prospects are for playing time.
