FLASHBACK Jan Koller, the towering Czech striker, was born on March 30, 1973. After a successful period at Lokeren, he moved to Anderlecht in 1999. There, he formed a perfect duo with the speedy Tomasz Radzinski.

Especially during the 2000 Champions League campaign, he made a huge impression.

This earned him a top transfer to Dortmund in 2001. Later on, he also played for clubs such as AS Monaco. At Anderlecht, he found the net 43 times in 65 matches. In addition, he won two league titles and two Supercups with the purple and white. He also received the Golden Boot and was the top scorer in 1999 (while still at Lokeren).

For the Czech national team, he scored 55 goals in 91 appearances.
