TRANSFERS The negotiations with Thorgan Hazard about a possible renewal of his contract seem to be moving again. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Anderlecht has submitted a new offer to its playmaker and is now waiting for Hazard's response.
The financial details of the proposal that is currently on the table are more interesting for the player than the first offer from a few months ago, but Hazard would still have to accept a lower wage than under his current contract. HLN would not disclose the duration of the new proposal. The previous offer made by Anderlecht was for one year with an option for a second year, with the option to be automatically exercised if certain conditions were met.
Thorgan Hazard turned 33 on the 29th and has played 34 games this season, scoring 14 times and providing 11 assists.
