TRANSFERS While the negotiations with Thorgan Hazard about a new contract talks are progressing again, that is not the case with Nathan De Cat. Het Laatste Nieuws reports that negotiations with the 17-year old over a contract extension are currently at a standstill, making a transfer next summer increasingly unavoidable.
De Cat's current contract runs until the end of next season. His strong performances have attracted interest from a number of major clubs, and he now appears to intent on cashing in on that attention. Transfer journalist Ekrem Konur reports that Atlético Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham, Aston Villa, AC Milan and Brighton are all closely monitoring De Cat. Bayern Munich would even be preparing a €30 million bid. According to Konur, Anderlecht's asking price is €30–35 million.
