YOUTH Anderlecht has handed Hidde Sysmans his first professional contract. The midfielder, who turns 16 in July, was champion with the purple-and-white in each of the past three seasons (with the U13s, U14s and U15s). "It's a very important day for me. I've always wanted to become a professional footballer."
"Being able to sign my first professional contract at Anderlecht is incredibly special," says Sysmans, who arrived from Club Brugge in 2022.
"Anderlecht means a great deal to me. I've spent four years here and learned so much. I love the game, just like my father and my brother. My biggest motivation is my family — I want to make them happy. My dream is to one day play at the Lotto Park."
