TRANSFERS According to his agent, RSC Anderlecht have been tracking Hossam Abdelmaguid. The 1.94-metre Egyptian centre-back is currently under contract at Zamalek, the club where he was developed. This season he played 33 matches in all competitions, scoring six goals and picking up four yellow cards. He also has twelve caps for Egypt and is 24 years old, with a clear wish to test himself in a European league.
His contract runs until June 2027 and his value is estimated at €1.8 million. West Bromwich Albion are also in the running; talks are said to have taken place with both clubs. He has additionally been linked to Young Boys Bern, Porto and Middlesbrough.
