U14 win Kings Cup in the Netherlands

YOUTH Anderlecht's U14 team won the Kings Cup in the Netherlands this weekend and returned with the title of best player of the tournament. The U14s finished the first day of the tournament in second place in a group of five. With 3 wins in 4 matches, they advanced to the second round.


On the second day, they eliminated a Polish and a Danish team in the quarterfinals and semifinals. The final against Middlesbrough ended in a draw, but the Purple & White won the penalty shootout. Forward Diallo scored 8 goals during the tournament and was also named best player.
