INJURIES Jérémy Taravel had good news from the treatment room this afternoon. Nathan De Cat is indeed in the squad for the game against Club Brugge, though at best he will pick up a few minutes off the bench.

The coach also brought positive updates on Llansana and Huerta. An absence of four to six weeks had initially been feared, but De Cat is recovering very quickly. He worked on it all day and has already trained with the group. Some at Anderlecht prefer to err on the side of caution so as not to jeopardize the cup final on 14 May. Taravel said the injury cannot worsen in the way a muscle problem might, and that De Cat always needs some game rhythm.

Enric Llansana is also fit again after missing the match against Union. And there was finally news on César Huerta: the Mexican, out for almost the entire season, is once more taking part in all group drills. He wants to play again soon, although it remains to be seen whether he'll suffer any reaction. Huerta is hoping for World Cup selection with Mexico and is keen to regain match rhythm for that reason as well.
