GAMES It is quite possible that Mihajlo Cvetkovic has played his last match for Anderlecht this season. After his red card — and following Anderlecht's appeal — the Serbian has been suspended for three matches, with a fourth match suspended conditionally. A fine of €3,500 was also imposed. Cvetkovic will therefore miss the games against Mechelen, STVV and Union.
Anderlecht will feel that absence: the Serbian had been finding the net regularly and was one of the better performers in the Champions' Play-offs. If Anderlecht finish fifth and are forced to play the barrage against the winner of the Europe Play-offs, they could call on the striker again. But above all, let's hope Anderlecht won't have to play that match.
