TRANSFERS According to Kicker, Schalke 04 is keen to sign Moussa Ndiaye permanently from Anderlecht. This comes as no surprise, given that the Senegalese player has generally been a starter for the 2. Bundesliga champions since his move last winter. The publication ranks Ndiaye as Schalke's third-best outfield player and considers him an absolute top-tier signing. Over 14 matches, he logged 1,122 minutes of playing time and also provided 2 assists.
Schalke signed the left back on loan from Anderlecht this winter but does not hold a purchase option and will therefore have to return to the negotiating table. Transfermarkt estimates Ndiaye's market value, who is under contract with Anderlecht for another two years, at 3 million. The Senegalese player also has a strong chance of being called up by his national team for the World Cup.
It is currently unclear what Anderlecht—and more specifically Sibierski—plans to do with Ndiaye.
