INTERVIEWS On Thursday evening Keisuke Goto will again be in the spotlight when STVV visit the Lotto Park. The Japanese forward, loaned to Sint?Truiden by Anderlecht, caused quite a stir in the first leg at Stayen with a late goal against his parent club. Goto celebrated the equaliser exuberantly and then provoked further by repeatedly and conspicuously kissing the STVV crest on his shirt. That clearly went down badly with some of the purple?and?white: among others Ludwig Augustinsson and Colin Coosemans confronted the young Japanese after the final whistle.

After the match Goto also made clear that a return to Anderlecht held little appeal for him, saying he had not been given enough trust in Brussels. “They had their chance, but they didn't believe in me,” he said at the time. A day before the return Jérémy Taravel returned to the incident. The experienced defender stressed that the matter has been closed inside the dressing room, but did not spare his criticism. “We actually don't talk about it in the dressing room anymore,” Taravel said. “I don't want to say too much about Goto, but some reactions speak for themselves. You either have class, or you don't.”
