TRANSFERS According to certain sources, Marin Soticek is a target for RSC Anderlecht with a view to next season. RSCA reportedly made an offer to Basel during the winter transfer window, but the Swiss club rejected the deal. Soticek is primarily a right winger who can also play on the left; he is 21 years old. He was developed at NK Lokomotiva in Croatia before moving to Basel in 2024.
This season he played 38 matches in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing three assists. He is a Croatian U21 international with 20 caps at that level, where he has scored three goals and given four assists. His contract runs until June 2028 and his market value is estimated at two million euros. This summer the Swiss club are said to be more willing to agree to a transfer. Another Belgian club is also reportedly interested, but its name has not been disclosed.
