INTERVIEWS Ending a season also means taking a moment to reflect. Anderlecht coach Jérémy Taravel did just that on social media. In an Instagram post he looked back on his first campaign as head coach of RSC Anderlecht. After the final league match against Union Saint-Gilloise, Taravel immediately went on holiday, but not before sharing his feelings about the past season.

According to the coach, the recent months were far from easy. "The end of a season is always the time to look back," Taravel wrote. "It wasn't an easy year. We went through difficult periods, with doubts and challenges, but at the same time we learned a lot." The French coach stressed that the pressure at Anderlecht is high, but that such expectations are understandable given the club's rich tradition. "Anderlecht has a strong identity and a great history. That requires everyone at the club to give their best every day."

Despite the setbacks, Taravel says he still believes in the process that has been set in motion. A difficult season, he argues, should not make the group lose its direction. "The most important thing remains making progress, continuing to work together and showing ambition. You don't build great things overnight."
