TRANSFERS Could Yari Verschaeren's future lie in Spain? According to Het Nieuwsblad, Alavés is showing interest in the midfielder. Alavés finished 14th in La Liga this season and were also the club that loaned Moussa Diarra to Anderlecht. The paper reports the Spaniards have been tracking Verschaeren for some time and would like to sign him.
Verschaeren is end of contract and could therefore leave Anderlecht on a free transfer.
