YOUTH Anderlecht announced today that 15-year-old Joshua Lambrechts and 16-year-old Lucas Kalombo have signed their first professional contracts. Both deals run until 2029. Lambrechts, a left-back from Mortsel, arrived at Neerpede two years ago from KV Mechelen. "Joshua is a player who remains very composed under pressure, is tactically disciplined and does not shy away from defensive duties.
He also stands out for his high degree of maturity and an exemplary mentality," said head of the youth academy Tim Borguet. Kalombo has been at Anderlecht since 2024. A youth product of Léopold Uccle, he joined Neerpede after a year at Gent. "Lucas is a right?footed defender who distinguishes himself by his intensity, his strength in one?on?one duels and his speed over longer distances," Borguet added. "Lucas is a hard worker, eager to learn and determined to keep developing. He has an exemplary mentality."
