OTHER After seven years, the marriage between Anderlecht and kit supplier Joma is over. The club announced this today via its official channels. "Purple-and-white wish to expressly thank Joma for the professional and creative collaboration," it reads. "We look back on a successful partnership." Joma is a Spanish sports brand.
Between 2011 and 2020 it was the kit supplier for KV Oostende — which is where the connection with Marc Coucke began. When Anderlecht's partnership with Adidas, after 43 years, needed renewing in 2019, the club opted for Joma. Now it appears Anderlecht is returning to familiar surroundings, and Adidas looks set to reappear soon as the club's kit supplier.
