INTERVIEWS On the sidelines of the unveiling of the new shirt for next season, CEO Kenneth Bornauw also provided an update on the search for a new coach. "We hope to have someone in place by the start of preseason," he said. Bornauw indicated the club already has a shortlist of candidates, containing both coaches familiar with our competitions and entirely new names. According to Bornauw, sporting director Antoine Sibierski knows exactly what he wants.
"He has drawn up a very precise profile description." The coach does not necessarily have to come from Sibierski's network or be someone he has worked with before. "We have already held multi-hour talks with two coaches," Bornauw added. Finally, the CEO noted that the transfer market will start later because of this summer's World Cup, but Anderlecht will not wait to get to work.
