OTHER While the World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada is in full swing, Anderlecht is already looking ahead to the coming season. The Brussels club will reconvene at Neerpede on Friday for the traditional start of pre-season. The first two days will be entirely devoted to medical and fitness tests, with the squad split into two groups. On Monday the first on-field training session will follow.
By then the club hopes to have clarity on the appointment of a new head coach, although no official decision has yet been made. On the transfer front it remains quiet for now. Anderlecht is in talks with several players, but may wait for the arrival of a new coach before taking any major steps.
