GAMES César Huerta made his first appearance at the World Cup overnight. The Mexican came on after 84 minutes in the win over South Korea. A fitting reward for Huerta, who missed almost the entire season because of a lingering injury. Mexico were already leading 1-0 at that point, helped in part by a blunder from South Korea goalkeeper Kim.
As the Mexicans are now already assured of qualification, Huerta may also get some more minutes in the final group match against Czechia.
