OTHER RSC Anderlecht have bolstered their defence with the signing of Giulian Biancone (26). The French centre-back joins from Olympiakos and has put pen to paper on a three-year deal at Lotto Park, with the option of an additional season. Biancone is no stranger to Belgian football: he spent two seasons on loan in the Jupiler Pro League with Cercle Brugge, arriving from Monaco. He then went on to feature in France's Ligue 1 with Troyes and in the Premier League with Nottingham Forest, before spending the past three seasons in Greece.
With Olympiakos, he gained valuable Champions League experience and won the league title, the cup and the Super Cup. With the physically strong Frenchman, the purple-and-white have brought in a defender who is quick, comfortable on the ball, athletic and immediately deployable.
