OTHER As the squad returns to the training ground on Monday, the position of head coach at Anderlecht remains open for the time being. Behind the scenes, however, work is under way on an agreement that, according to internal sources, is now in the final stage of negotiations. If the new coach is not announced in time, assistant Jérémy Taravel will temporarily take charge of the first sessions at the training centre in Neerpede. The Frenchman will also remain part of the technical staff after the arrival of the new coach.
The Brussels club are hoping to provide clarity as soon as possible, so that preparations for the new season can begin under the definitive sporting leadership. In the meantime, the players underwent the traditional medical tests on Friday and Saturday.
