GAMES Nathan Saliba has once again caught the eye at the World Cup. Although Canada lost 2-1 to Switzerland, Saliba provided the fine assist for the 2-1 goal, scored by Union's Promise David. Canada were already 2-0 down when Saliba was played through after the break. He controlled the ball superbly and quickly laid it off to David, who finished first time.
A nice goal, but in the end it did little for Canada. Switzerland won the group, while Canada must play its round of 16 tie in Los Angeles. Saliba had also scored for Canada in the previous match against Qatar.
