OTHER Bram Geers and Anderlecht have immediately ended their collaboration. The decision was taken after a meeting between Geers and Antoine Sibierski. Geers returned to Anderlecht last year from Bayern Munich, where he had been put in charge of the strategic oversight of the players' physical development and medical support. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, the decision not to continue with Geers follows an audit of the club's operational workings by Sibierski.
Geers' departure will be absorbed internally. In Pedro Oliveira, who arrived alongside new head coach Vitor Bruno, Anderlecht already brought in a new physical coach. Geers previously worked at Anderlecht from 2017 to 2022 as a physical coach. He then followed Vincent Kompany to Burnley and Bayern Munich. He is currently with the German national team at the World Cup.
