TRANSFERS Reports from South Africa name Anderlecht as one of the clubs that would be interested in Mbekezeli Mbokazi. Mbokazi is a 20-year-old central defender who represented South Africa at the World Cup. National coach Hugo Broos had Mbokazi play the full 90 minutes in all four matches. Since the start of this year, the defender has been on the books of Chicago Fire, where he is also a regular starter.
Before that, he played for Orlando Pirates in his home country. Club Brugge, Ajax, Utrecht, Sassuolo, Rennes, Frankfurt, Bournemouth, Real Betis and Nottingham Forest are also said to be on the list of possible suitors.
