TRANSFERS With only a few details left to be ironed out, the deal between Anderlecht, Hoffenheim and Nathan De Cat is nearly complete. Het Nieuwsblad has learned from German sources that Hoffenheim will pay a fixed transfer fee of €17 million. A further €6 million in bonuses could be added to that amount. According to transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the conditions for those bonuses should be relatively easy to meet.
Tavolieri also says De Cat will travel to Germany to undergo his medical. If he passes, he can sign a five-year contract with the German club, who currently sit fifth in the Bundesliga. De Cat would therefore become Anderlecht's second major outgoing transfer of the summer. Earlier, the purple and white sold Keisuke Goto to Freiburg for a fee reported, depending on the source, to be between €10 million and €13 million.
