OTHER As the summer transfer window gathers pace, Anderlecht appears to have clearly identified its next attacking priority: Stefan Baiaram, the Romanian winger from Universitatea Craiova. Anderlecht is said to have already tabled a bid of €4 million, an amount the Romanian club considers insufficient. Craiova are reportedly asking for €5 million. The 22-year-old Baiaram has developed into one of the most promising players in his league.
Naturally a left winger, he can also operate as a striker or as a second forward. Talks between both clubs could resume after Craiova's return leg against ML Vitebsk, scheduled for July 15. The Romanian side want to keep their squad stable until the end of this first European qualifying round.
