GAMES Mihajlo Cvetkovic emerged as one of Anderlecht's standouts after coming off the bench. The Serbian forward brought extra energy, found the net and helped spark the turnaround against Hammarby. Still, he was keen above all to praise the collective effort. “After the break, things were much better.
We played more in line with our principles and showed how we want to play. We deserved the win and we need to keep going like this.” Cvetkovic acknowledges that his substitute appearance gave the team a fresh boost, but he does not want to make too much of his own role. “Maybe I gave the team a bit of extra energy, but everyone was important. Both the players on the pitch and the guys on the bench. It's not about me, but about Anderlecht and what we can do as a team.” The striker is also upbeat about the new coach. Vitor Bruno celebrated Tristan Degreef's 3-1 goal with particular exuberance. “The coach does his job with a lot of emotion, and I like that. I think we're ready for the season.
