OTHER This afternoon, the draw will take place for the final qualifying round of both the Europa League and the Conference League. Depending on the result against PAOK, Anderlecht will end up in one path or the other.
If RSCA manages to eliminate PAOK, these are the potential opponents in the Europa League playoffs:
- Lillestrøm (Norway)
- Winner of Larne (Northern Ireland) vs. Iberia Tbilisi (Georgia)
- Loser of Mjällby (Sweden) vs. Slovan Bratislava (Slovakia)
- Loser of Levski Sofia (Bulgaria) vs. Kairat Almaty (Kazakhstan)
If Sporting is eliminated in this round, it will automatically advance to the group stage of the Conference League without having to play another qualifying round.
If the Purple & Whites fail to beat the Greeks, they will advance to the final qualifying round of the Conference League, where they will face one of the following teams:
- Winner of Jablonec (Czech Republic) vs. RFS (Latvia)
- Winner of Zalgiris (Lithuania) vs. Hajduk Split (Croatia)
- Winner of SK Brann (Norway) vs. Apollon Limassol (Cyprus)
- Winner of Inter Turku (Finland) vs. Vaduz (Liechtenstein)
- Winner of Noah (Armenia) vs. Sion (Switzerland)
If Sporting fails to advance past this two-leg tie, it will be eliminated from European competition.
