OTHER If things go wrong against PAOK, there's still a safety net for Anderlecht in Europe this season. Anderlecht would then drop back to the final qualifying round of the Conference League, where it would face the winner of the SK Brann vs. Apollon Limassol match. If it emerges victorious from that matchup, it will advance to the group stage of the Conference League.
Anderlecht would play the first leg of this potential matchup at home on August 20, with the second leg taking place a week later in Norway or Cyprus. If Anderlecht were to lose this matchup as well, they would be eliminated from European competition for the season.
