OTHER The potential transfer of Chidera Ejuke to RSC Anderlecht appears to be definitively off the table. While several sources had previously reported that the Purple & White had made an official offer for the Nigerian winger, Soccernet now reports that talks between all parties have come to nothing.
Ejuke was allowed to leave Sevilla FC this summer and had been training individually in recent weeks while awaiting a transfer. Now that a move (to Anderlecht or another club) has fallen through, the 28-year-old winger has simply been reintegrated into the first-team squad.
The leading Spanish sports daily Marca confirms that Ejuke has rejoined group training and can once again focus on the new La Liga season. Anderlecht will therefore have to continue its search for a new winger elsewhere.
