OTHER According to Sacha Tavolieri, Anderlecht has reached an agreement for the transfer of forward Tawfik Bentayeb. A club-to-club deal is also said to be in place with his side, Union Sportive Touarga. Bentayeb is still waiting for his work permit before he can get started in Belgium. Bentayeb is a familiar face for Sibierski, who brought him to Troyes on loan.
The Moroccan, however, is still owned by Union Sportive Touarga, who want cash up front. Tavolieri speaks of a fee of around €4 million, plus bonuses, although some websites believe signing the player will cost more. Bentayeb has been prolific at every club he has played for. With 18 goals, he finished last season as the top scorer in Ligue 2 in France.
